2008 I joined and had a 27’ Magnum marine knock off (copy). Great boat, I wish I could have scanned those motors to see how many hours I had a WOT lol

I joined September of 2002 under the screen name of RJBBC. The letters were a reference to my ex-wife and two dogs that we had that have since passed. We purchased our first boat the Summer of 2002 (2000 Checkmate 259 Convincor). A lot can happen in 16 years but I still visit this site almost daily. Here's the boat!

Good thread topic. Was on the site reading before but Joined in 2014 in need of help on which boat we should trade up to.

Started 2003 outlaw, put a procharger on it.

Then moved onto an 03 cheetah with 525’s

And just recently got a 05 slingshot with asd’s and 572’s

Started lurking around 2007. First boat was a 98 26 scarab with a way overbored whippled 565. Detonated it and cracked cylinder walls in about 15 mins....

New engine, took for maiden voyage dropped a valve... lol round 3 - redid heads and had eddie young tune it, then sold scarab... (it lasted the 3rd time) project took about 3 years total.

in the interim.bought a 22 avanti with 600hp... ran it like a scalded dog while working on scarab. Friend bought it an filled engine with water, let it sit.

now have a 2016 tidewater 280cc with twin 300 yammys... looking for a 41 apache, 46 cig, or 40 skater eventually.

Joined OSO in 2005. Had my second Nor Tech at the time. Also the Sea Ray Pachanga that was a great boat to have at the cottage in CAN at the time.
