I restore vintage dirt bikes and have shipped them all over the US.
I have had great results with Forward Air, they are a trucking company with terminals at every major airport in the country.

Look them up at www.forwardair.com

The only drawback is that you have to crate and bring the bike to the terminal and it is to be picked up at the terminal.

I recently shipped a 250 Penton to Ohio for $98.00!!!!

A buddy of mine asked me the same question a couple of years ago. I went on the AMA's (American Motorcycle Association) website and emailed them with the same question. The told us the name of the company that they use to transport all of their Vintage show bikes all over the country. Can't remember the name of the company, but we used them to ship a custom from Cali to Arkansas. Seems like the cost was around $500. Contact the AMA for their name.

Call Harley Davidson and see who they partner up with. The companies they recommend are usually real good. Ive used this service many times. They come right to your door and pick it up. Plan on 400 to 500 dollers

Call Motorcycle Freight, 800-bike tow. He is one of our customers, and has transported for some of our other customers. He does Harley Davidson and many other Manufactures, and is a first class operation. He is a factory carrier serving the public.

Rob Stringer, thanks for the info. The buyer (my brother) has arranged for transpotation. Miss my Money, it was a Suzuki Marauder. Not really a bike I would want to ride that far. Plus, its freakin cold up there!:D :D
