How was your experience working with them? Are they true GM Marine Long blocks or are they building them?

I got 3 vortec’s from them and it’s my understanding that they’re the same thing as what Volvo and merc get right from GM, I did get a pre vortex piece one time, it had dart center bolt heads (. 8 bolt intake )... I believe that one they partially assembled themselves, ( using new short block and dart heads)

If you break these engines in with dino oil and vary the rpms during break in you will be fine. Then run syn thetic....
