Any info on 1995 obsession 28 ft torrent twin 502's

Boat handles horribly in flat water approaching 70 mph mark, tried many different props 3 ,4 ,5 blade doesn't change handling much tried one inch spacers under drives helped a little bit, boat will handle nice at 82-84 mph in foot to foot and a half water but that kind of water is rare . Any advice would be appreciated

We have one at our shop now. Stock length bravos, 26p Hydromotives. 502Mag MPI it runs an honest 75-77mph. Squirrely up top but manageable. It porpoises in the mid range but Ive yet to find a twin big block 28 foot anything that doesnt, if you drag some tab it levels out. Nice boat!

Have you tried to adjust some of the weight? My old 28 Apache had a little porpoise when I bought it, but it was manageable. Had twin 454's beefed up with aluminum heads. I repowered it with 502/415hp motors with cast iron heads, pretty much stock. The extra weight of the cast iron heads made all the difference as I never had to drop the tabs, even on take off. It felt perfectly balanced going back to the stock weight setup.

Thanks for responding, it doesn't porpoise per say,but it has handles as if it was balanced on a nail head side to side front to back and diagonally, if I drag tabs it does better by cutting a few miles an hour off of it . Took pics at speed seems like water line is just shy of the first step in hull ,does anyone think throwing more power at it will get it up over first step and level itself out ??? Any info is appreciated thanks again ,I'm open to anything to try and fix it ,I really like the lines of this hull and it's a pretty cheap date so far

Ill take some measurements off the one at our shop today. It's a pretty stable riding boat.
