shawn,
I must say, I love the looks of that boat. I haven't even heard of a fountain non center console less than 27'. Do you have any info about this model? I have looked on the web, and found a few for sale, but yours is the only picture I have ever seen. I have always loved the looks of a fountain, but I am not ready to go to the 27 or 29' yet, mainly $$. Any info you may have will be greatly appreciated

I believe the boat was advertised as a 24', and it was Fountain's break in to the high performance ski boat market. I also believe that the boat has a water balast to delevop a better wake for sking. The boat was in production for a short period between 1993 and 1995?
It does look cool, but I wonder how well the boat rides (sit down seats) in a little chop? Maybe Shawn will fill us in?

I had heard they made less then 300 of them. It's length is 24'9". I think it rides great, but keep in mind my other boat is an 18' Classic Donzi. It does ride very nice though. The balast tank is in the bow, have not played with that yet. I was out in it the other day with some good chop with 4 people and 60 gallons of gas and we were not getting beating in the slighest, even at 70 MPH. As far as a 24-25 foot performance boat with some room to it, you would be hard pressed to do any better I think, for the money. It has a nice area under the bow also. Nice big pad and all carpeted with the Fountain Logo. Perfect Stabbin Cabin. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. Thanks.

shawn,
If you have any pictures of the interior, cabin, engine, etc. basically anything I would appreciate it. I have a 20'4" baja hot shot ('95, in '96 the same boat is called the outlaw). I am really happy w/ the boat, but when I saw the picture of yours, I LOVED it.
Lake Front,
Thanks for the info...A ballast (sp?), that would be great for wakeboarding. I am no professional, but it is fun to do. The 300 in production would explain the limited info on the web.
