shrink wrap for protection

Hello,

I just finished detailing my boat and will bring it to storage in three weeks. I want to keep it clean and safe from the landscaping people. Will it harm my paint if I cover the boat with the shrink wrap I that I use for shipping? It is very thin and flimsy and will only be used afor three weeks.

Thanks

You talking about the clear plastic wrap they use for wrapping stuff on pallets? We have a machine here that spins the pallet in a circle and the wrap roll moves up and down wrapping the whole thing...if thats the stuff you talking about then you shouldn't have any problems...i wrapped a small 13' cat boat in that stuff and it sat for 6 months like that after getting a fresh paint job with no issues...

Yes, that is what I am referring to. The wrap that I have is thinner.
