KW Poker Run / Races Picture thread...

before we tapped out stating we had to make a flight in the morning. Dude in the Wake Effects shirt said he had to make a flight that afternoon! NFW he was making it! He cashed out at over $200 for the tab and he knew the bartender who hinted that he took care of him on the bill so it was probably more like $300 + and that was just one of their stops. Saw the guy on our flight to Atlanta Tuesday morning. He obviously didn't make the Monday flight! Good times.

I wanted to share the footage I got from this year's poker run from Miami to Key West. Took the wife and kids, (we all played hooky) and set up outside the channel by Ocean Reef. We set a couple of GoPros on a channel marker and sat back to enjoy the show. I give full credit to my wife for the editing and double screen, I'm not very tech savvy to say the least.

I know the CC's are popular but the big block I/O stuff sure sounds the best!

So i'm on Duval Street waiting behind a guy at the little bar outside Rick's. This guy has a full on Cig Maximus shirt and i'd had a serious amount of drinks so i tap this guy on the shoulder. He turns around and i say "hey you wouldn't happen to be "thisistank" would you? He smiles, laughs and says "ya this is tank". Pretty amazing as i have never met this guy before haha. Good to put a face to the name and meet another member 1800 miles from home!

I got to tell you, my wife and friends give me a lot of crap about that Maximus shirt (it's a bit loud LOL), but NEVER fails someone hits me up about it every time I wear it down there. Hope to see ya at another event in the 2019 season. we'll be at Desert Storm, hoping to make the shoot-out and as always back to Key West.
