It is offshore boat nervauna down there.
Kelly, ck out Islamorada.
Our favorite and way more for the money. 200+ boats on the sand bar on nice days.
We lived in Fla for 9 yrs and were in the Keys every weekend we could.
One trip down, a friend was an hr ahead and just crossed the bridge over Gilbert’s and that I should stop.
We did.
Lucked into hitting there while the poker run crew was heading south.
I counted 35 boats, ONLY two w/Fla registration!
Bad ass!
Didnt know the race was down and already had a room booked in Marathon but took the trolley down (which no one knows about!) for the races.
We stayed for the boat parade down Duval st. It was over the top and I was hooked!!
Don’t remember going back to our room.
Kelly, don’t forget my set of keys to the new place 😉

On your way north, allow time for snooping your way out of the Keys.
Islamorada=
Hog Heavan - Atlantic Side w/nice harbor.
Ocean View - Bay Side. Follow the path to the water.
Key Largo -Caribbean Club. They hate tourists but best view in the Keys.
Hit it as sunset.
We spent 3 days there at anchor, dinghying in.
They close at 4 am and reopen at 6 am!

For cryin' out loud Tank, don't you have any pictures where you are having a great time? Always the same depressing subject matter. Hot boat's, hot women, notoriety at every venue, a lot of eating and drinking, and oh ya, a boat race here and there. Sounds boring! LOL x 1.000!

It is that there was 12 people from 6 different parts of the country that have become life long friends because of a shared love of this sport. Great people, great trip!
