hey . .while we are on the subject. what is the fastest V hull. like the kilo record or somthing , an i mean fastest fastest.

Not sure if this is the fastest, but Mike Fiore is running his 42' GTX v-bottom with 1400 Sterlings in the 140's!!!

Just before the 1000 islands poker run there was a rumour that Fiore was doing some test runs on Lk St. Clair. My friends wife works at a marina close to where they launched and she called and said "some Outerlimits went 136 today", I laughed and asked if she had been smoking something funny , I guess I was wrong.
I can't really think of a reason why they would be here other than Sterling is about a 40 minute drive away.

What is the absolute fastest offshore V hull ?

I talked to one of the guys on "Rock It" at the Scope run in Long Beach this year and he said they had run 138 that day, and 144 was the best the boat had seen.
