Re: Tempest Marine
Here's my '86 Tempest Hawk. Looks identical to the one that was Pace Boat
back when. She's getting new 540's and should hit the water in two weeks.

Re: Tempest Marine
There were several companies called "Tempest" but if you're looking for the one C-Spray is talking about (T-Torque drives, 42 Open model...) then it's a pretty good one. They had a nice 60' express which had T-Torques and twin 3412 Cats @ 1000hp. each. This boat also had a massive cockpit and offered good performance for such a big boat (50 mph). There are few of those for sale and they can be bought for approx. 250K in excellent condition with under 500 hours on those engines which is nothing for 12-cylinder CAT diesels. Adam Erdberg at Bradford Yacht Sales actually has one for sale which is very nice and the owner seems to be ready to consider all offers... If you're after a large, fast express cruiser but don't want to pay Magnum or even Sunseeker, Baia money this could be a good solution to your boating problem...
