Magnum Marine re-imagined
This project started over two years ago. We are building what we would want out of a magnum today. Hope you enjoy the pics. They might be slightly out of order. We gutted down to the hull and the front cap. All the wood is gone and we have used premium American made fiberglass, epoxy and carbon fiber |
We wanted to make sure the captain had easy access from both sides to the bow and stern |
We have not used any molds, all the parts are fabricated by hand with high density foam and glass |
I think something is missing.
|
The cap and hull were bonded together from the inside and outside |
All the stringers were removed and replaced with High density foam and 6 layers of 45 biaxle |
We extended the stringers past the stern , total of 5 members to create the structure for the built in engine bracket |
We have easily removed over 5k pounds of unnessary weight of the inside furniture |
We moved the windshield 12 inches forward as well as cut and reworded the sides to have a better walkway for the new stairs up to the top deck |
This is my last post so I’m allowed to post pics. :) |
