Take the Cover Off

Why is when someone lists a boat for sale they tell you how great the interior is,but then they don’t take the cover off.If you take the time to take the pictures take the damn cover off.

I do that just to show it’s always covered.

Just like people taking pic's of it with a dirty interior and stating interior in good condition just needs a cleaning.

My favorite is the pictures with leaves all over the place.

Why would you even snap the photo?

Absolutely! Because if you say it’s always covered, and there’s a picture of it uncovered, you know there’s gonna be a thread in the “Beware/Stolen” section!

cigrocket 12-04-2018 12:06 PM

LOL! Just like the thread a few days ago. Boat is ready to go, just needs 2 starters. Oh, by the way I have no title. Seriously

TxHawk 12-04-2018 12:40 PM

"Yes honey, I listed the boat."

"Snowball's chance in hell it'll sell because of the sh!t pics but yes dear, it's listed"

Yeah, vendors should all be 'up front' and tell us the whole truth. Like this guy who just fixed a couple of stress cracks in his Donzi. :)

"The Legendary Black Widow, jumping the 40+ wave in the Pacific Ocean. Minor side fiberglass repair and better than ever."

Ya I caught that, made me gag for a moment! Legendary and notorious are not the same thing.

It’s shocking how many boats are listed as great condition and the interior is trashed !

Griff 12-05-2018 12:31 AM

I looked at 26 Donzi with/for a buddy last Summer. It was priced like it was a "10" and the owner and pics represented it that way.
It was a POS and I wouldn't give it a "5" on a good day. Needed 5k worth of gel work and the transom assembly was shot.
