I have looked at all the boats. The A/T, PowerPlay, and Pantera at the Miami Boat Show and the Superboat at a couple of APBA Races. PowerPlay folks did not give me the time of day, Pantera answered all question as did the A/T group. Hands down the most room was the A/T, but after 3 years on OSO the customer sevrice I see from Jo at Pantera would make the choice very easy.

PANTERA.

Hey 26 Scarab,

I would look into the 1999 28 Pantera I built for BJM.

This boat will run 88-90 MPH and has a great motor package like you are looking for ( 700 HP Blower ).The motor is very reliable and has a Bravo 1 built up with Imco gears.

The boat has a half cabin and a custom made 5 man bolster with lowered cockpit floor.

This boat will run in any water you throw its way.

If you are interested in a new Pantera then email me or call me here at the factory.

We offer the 28 in a full pleasure version like (Von Bongo 28) or in a lighter version with a 5 or 6 man bolster set up with half cabin.

I will basically build the boat to a customers specs.

Merc power the only reliable power ? It better be for what you pay for it.
Twins.... if its your money I'm spending.

Jo,
that boat sounds awesome and the price is right but like my earlier post mentions I do need a cabin. Also I have a boat that I need to get rid of first.
I will tell you this though, I've always had my heart set on an AT , but now I will really look into what you have to offer.:)

Send an e-mail here, I dug it up from a while ago: [email protected]

I flew out there a year or so ago (Peoria IL) & was looking at the 28 Pantera they had with the twins, but they has 2 others there also, I distinctly recall a black one with a bravo on a box, & hydraulic steering and one more.

Who knows, maybe he's got one for ya.

The guys name was Bill if I recall correctly, and he was willing to sell me the all white one with no motors, but

Go with an Activator. My 27 runs great with an MRD Blower Motor.

Aren't there a couple of current threads right now about some 32' single engine Sunsations running speeds in excess of 80mph with Merc Power?

Question for Jo

Jo,

THe boats you guys have made all look great (the one's I've seen). Next time I'm down in Fla, I'd like to check out the 35 you guys have.

Outta curiosity, does it have any steps ? What are top speeds looking like with the 500's, if you don't mind ?

Truthfully I just got into another boat, so I won't be buyin one right away, but I'm glad to see you guys came out with the 35. From bein in your 28's, I'd definitely like to take a 35 for a test drive before my next purchase (a few years down the road)

Thanks,
Ratchet
