1986 Mirage 36 O.B.

Anyone have any pics or info on any all black 1986 Mirage 36’s? I have one that someone started an open conversion on and did a horrible job. A friend of mine bought it and got so pissed cutting out bad work that he gave up. I am trying to decide what to do with it and am looking for inspiration. Who has the deck mold, maybe start over with a new deck so you can go back to original layout?

From the little info I have found, I believe all the molds were destroyed long ago.

Can't give up , just cut out the bad work and start over, great hull.

Don’t give up on a great Hull. It’s a project that you can get done in spare time. I had one and Cortes made a solid riding boat. I understand he let the molds go and he was working on a flats boat mold for a local builder about 3 or 4 years ago. It’s not a big deal to make it the way you want it and you will enjoy the ride.
