Hourly rate for gellcoat repair?

Can someone please give me an idea of an average price for gellcoat repair labor? Is this type of work normally priced by the hour or by the job?

It is probably bid by the hour to create a portion of the total cost/job. About $85/ hour is what I have seen, does that seem right to the rest of you??

thrillseeker i dont know if i mentioned it when i talked to you but mine is $75.00 an hour. thats about average. sorry i wasnt able to help more.

In NY the range is $75hr-$90hr. The better guys will also give you a per job price depending on the damage and if there are fades or pin lines in the repair.
