Formula 271, Fountain 27 fever Sonic prowler??or Donzi 26ZX
 

I am in the market for a late model used boat in the 26 to 29 range down to these four help??/:confused:

The 26' Sonic is really a 25 with a molded swim platform and wings on the side of the hull to support it; I will be honest about that. However, I have been on all of the boats you mentioned, and for room, value, standard amenities, beat-the-tar-out-of ability, and overall comfort, there is no doubt in my mind... Sonic.

(OK, I like my 26' Prowler.)

Out of those choices I would go with the Sonic.

I voted Sonic so you could buy my buddies 260 Prowler. Great boat and I have had a lot of fun on it. Dont give up on it just yet.

I have the 26ZX and would not trade it for any of the others mentioned above. I have just the stock 502 in it right now and it may not be the fastest out there but from what I seen it handles the bigger water better.
But this is just one loyal Donzi owners opinion.

Only downside to the Sonic is no windshield and a narrow cockpit only 3 across the back seat. I,m in a hold right now I think until after the NYC boat show. I hope they have a Sonic there

All of the above boats a very nice, you need to ask yourself how often you will be spending the night onthe boat. 27 Fountain is cramped in cabin. However the Sonic is roomy but a heavier boat. No one kill me here but the Fountain is probably the fastest of the bunch, but not by much. I very rarely spend the night on my boat so it works for me.

PS my second choice would be the Sonic
