Surprised to hear that. As a large JL Signature Dealer that installs hundreds of digital amps a year we have not seen many issues. If installed with proper cabling and adequate battery power they are usually very reliable. If you do not want to have the issues with the digital amps the analogs versions are less effected by low voltage. Been on some wet sound projects as well. They play loud but not near the level of sound that JL has. JMO.

My JL system has been flawless and the sound is incredible with only2 600 watt amps. My buddy has wet sounds and it’s super loud but the definition is less crisp. The tower position has a lot to do with how well the sound is projected also.

that’s just it. I baught digital for the reason of less current draw. Chit. 4 gauge at 6 feet from amp. Brand new group 31 interstates. With brand new high output alternators. If it’s power issue I’m confused. My non digital Jl amps of old slammed all day long never shut. Off or thermaled. I was a very loyal Jl fan , in excess of 15 grand being conservative. Let’s count. 1200/1. Two 750/1. Two 600 by 4. One marine , one normal. In the closet right now collecting dust. Sad but true.

I must have bad luck. As I’ve sent or my dealer has sent 3 back for me in two years. Jvl replaced with new no problems there 👍👍
