I know you didn't just compare me to a fountain! Where's the V-berth? Where's the cabin storage? and whaddya mean stock HP500?
Besides, let's see that same fountain up in Eastlake on Lake Erie and see how it runs.

I think they would have to remove the calm water driver and replace with a rough water driver to go play on Erie.

Cabin?, You don't need no stinkin cabin.

"Stock" a curious word that can obviously be interperated in many different ways often resulting in completely different definitions.

Hey John,

It has rained here for three solid weeks now.

It may be March before it is warm enough and dry enough to go out on the lake again.

Clay,

Don't listen to the guy who said you need a whipple to do over 80. I have a 1998 27 Progression that will run over 80. The boat has a 500hp, duel ram latham steering, drive shower, custom lab prop, and much much more. Check out www.liopa.com under boats for sale for add'l info.

You know ehat they say about the weather in Texas, Clay. "If you don't like it, just wait a while, it'll change".

I've had some great days boating in mid December.

Oh, and all these guys quoting speeds while trying to pawn their boats off on ya, make sure it's by radar or GPS. It's taken me forever to get my boat up to 82.4 on GPS, and those were perfect conditions, light load, etc. But then again, you've heard all the stories before. Good luck on your search. Hell, if my boat was as perfect as all the other boats on this thread, I'd offer it up for sale to ya.
