I'll give you an example: My girlfriend is in the wine business. Her vineyard's current Cabernet Sauvignon release (2013) is $135 a bottle, not super-expensive by boutique Napa Valley winery standards but more than the average wine drinker wants to or can afford to spend. It's definitely more than I want to spend on a bottle of wine. (Fortunately, I don't have to.)
But who cares? Discretionary income purchases are just that, discretionary. If you're looking at a go-fast boat as an "investment" in the first place, you need a financial adviser. Let there be joy in the purchase. Heck, it's not my money or yours. That's one of the beauties of this great country. We get to make choices.

Well said Matt.....however when you buy a new boat and it is immediately for sale....as this particular owner seems to do quite frequently....it might be an investment

Fair point. But as I wrote, Ron Szloack is a de facto Skater dealer. Not everyone could do what he does—he has a knack for ordering boats he can sell before he even gets a ride in them.

I was at Skater 5-6 weeks ago. I was able to see this boat in person. It's amazing, as are all Skaters.
I see in the article "133-134 with 700's"
I hope so, mine is in the mold now and will get 700's.
Yes, first post. Been lurking for a year or so. Never had a reason to jump in, until today.

I’m probably wrong, but I thought the 700’s were no longer available ?
