I have had my 19 foot bowrider in the keys and have taken it out to the reefs to snorkel. I have also had it in the keys and never took it outside the canals because of the conditions. We as captains always need to be aware of our surrounds.
sam, that is because you actually have intelligence unlike the masses of boating dumba$$es

Who carries 15 life jackets in a boat like that? I don't even own 15 life jackets.

That inlet looks sketchy for even the most capable captain AND vessel.

A lot of our inlets on this side are narrow and depending on the tide flow get NASTY. Not like coming in and out on the gulf side.

Even if it wasn't running fast a ski boat isn't something I would take out in the Atlantic much, very few days where it is calm. And unlike what most think they are not the nice swells everyone talks about.

The captin on this one was just wrong on so many things.

I own a Mastercraft, an inlet would put that boat on the bottom.....everytime!
