Race Aero was bought by (the late) Tom Gentry and after his death the company was taken over by Carson Brummett in Pasadena, CA. Carson has continued the product and these systems are outstanding. You can get extremely high horsepower, excellent dependability and a massive reduction in noise levels. The downside is price. A good turbo system is quite a bit more expensive than any of the current blower systems. You can easily build a 1600 hp motor and tune down to the level you desire (boost control knob on the dash). I personally like either 540 or 572 inch motors with very large AirResearch turbos and waste gates. Gary Teague (GT Performance) in Montclair, CA builds a lot of these motors for the ski racers (very powerful). He has an outstanding EFI systems which makes them turn-key.
Good luck, you're really stepping up the fun factor...
