What is the story with this new site fastboats******? looks simular to this site only smaller and I saw some of you over there are they connected? :confused: :confused:

If you think about it, I guess "Immitation is the Best form of Flattery" applies to this case...

The only good thing about that site are the members in common and the Dental floss section :D

Believe it or not, for a couple weeks it was actually called Offshoreonly dot net :rolleyes:

I find Fastboats to be a GREAT site!! As this one.. Again whats the problem with other sites.. I dont get it??? No one has ever explained that to me.. Nor Have I ever seen any OSO bashing by the sites owner..

Think about it! Can we all get along? Its a big world.. Why not!!

I enjoy a lot of sites but this is the best.

Nothing wrong with other sites sharing similar interests...

It's one particular individual's "Method of Departure" which doesn't sit too well...

It is not the site that is lame, it is the lackof activity. OSO is great because we are all here!

Definitely not much going on over there. There's nothing wrong with other sites but I have to agree OSO RULES! :D :D :D

Biggest difference....they don't now, and never will have the "Family" we do....:):)

OSO is definitely a big family . Steve and Jeffrey were the ones to come up with the original theme and this site will only grow. It's the Coca Cola " original" of the high performance boating world - In my opinion of course - BH

There is nothing wrong with that other site. It's a little more laid back than here and sometimes that's a good thing. Hey nothing wrong with making friends in new places. Another one that is about to be launched is partyboating.com I like that theme. I'm there as scorpion. It'll be advertised soon.

OSO is the Mother of all boating boards.

Great site. Very laid back and definatly not for the law abiding.

HE seems ok to me. I don't know what the major meltdown was but any way like I said there's nothing wrong with other sites. :) :)

You know, its funny to see the recent improvements here at OSO are all based on what they already have at fastboats. So it works both ways. (the online/offline thing and the quick reply box are something swe have enjoyed for sometime now at Fastboats)
OSO maybe the biggest now but time will tell....

There are some great boating sites on the internet, OSO is only one of them.

Oh and packinair,
If the other site sucks so much, why put an ad for your boat there? They must be only good enough for that...
