Maybe next year they will Supercharge it.:p

Shah Mat 10-31-2002 04:55 AM

That is funny.
I will have to admit that I have been in the garage with a couple of buddies along with some beer and someone always says something like,

Wouldn't it be cool if we could.......................................

But the beer always gets us before we can start on some insane project. This is probably a good thing:D

fred 10-31-2002 05:34 AM

WoW.....thats one impressive chainsaw.......

Lucididee 10-31-2002 06:10 AM

CigDaze 10-31-2002 08:06 AM

NO F'in WAY!!!

That's insane!

It went through that tree in like less than 2 seconds flat!

mcollinstn 10-31-2002 08:57 AM

How heavy you figure it is?

If it is aluminum block and heads, with a tiny flywheel it's still gotta weigh a bunch doesn't it?

I agree - those dudes yanked it off the ground like it weighed 50 pounds! I bet they can change tires without a jack.

FountainCS 10-31-2002 09:05 AM

Think how quick they could do one of those Chainsaw sculptures! Not sure what it would look like though.

Sydwayz 10-31-2002 09:41 AM

That was way cool; but if you follow around the circle from the v-twin, to the V-6, to the V-8, there is something to the left of the V-8, that is blue, that another guy is working on. A Viper V-10 maybe? Can we say a four man Aluminum Torque V-12? No wait, a Turbine power tree desintegrator.

R Addiction 10-31-2002 09:50 AM

YEEHAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!:D

DallasHeat 10-31-2002 10:05 AM

I could use that to cut down my Christmas tree this year, do you think Home Depot rents them?:D

mr_velocity 10-31-2002 10:18 AM

Chansaws on a boating thread. So who knows why it fits? There is actually a very strong connection here.

Sydwayz 10-31-2002 11:10 AM

Was the first outboard made from a chainsaw?

formula31 11-01-2002 11:09 AM

Did anybody save this? The link doesnt work today.

Wally 11-01-2002 11:55 AM

Ya know though....they realy did compare that thing to the unlimited class chainsaws those guys have.....the ones that have custome tuned pipes that looke like the engine could have come out of a drag racing snowmobile!!! I bet it would be close! :D
