Launching in the Fort Myers area
Thought I'd check here for some launching advice. We sold our 38 Top Gun a CPL years ago. We used to ramp it in & out at Wiggins Pass & Punta rassa. The trailer would definitely scrape when launching & pulling the boat out. We recently bought a Fountain 47 SC & we're
not sure we can ramp it at either place or possibly the lovers key ramp which appears to have a less steep angle of attack. Any local advice ? Thanks in advance. Harold. |
Rosen park in Cape Coral has some of the best ramps around. Close to the river but in a canal. You have a little river running to get to gulf but it’s not bad. About 30 mins from Rosen park to the gulf. |
