454 mpi value?
 

whats the value for a 1998 mercruiser 454 mpi with about 1000 hrs. complete pull out motors, run good, fresh water only.

454 mag mpi, I'd guess 3-4k.

About $6000 new 1-800-runsnew so $4000 a good guess?

1000 hours? Even if running well they'll be hard to sell for any good money with that many hours; they're at refresh time. The MPI set-up isn't very performance-mod friendly either. Three grand or so?

they are not mags.

yes they run well but i would freshen them up before installation. i would be happy with 2k each.

I agree 2K maybe 2.4 K max if even that. its 310 hp nothing special there.

yes i know they are nothing special but they pushed my straight v to 72 mph flawlessly for 1000 hours. wouldnt they be good for someones cruiser?

Are they HO magnum?365HP? or 330's?? Big difference in motors!

I hear you not knocking you or the motors but one you asked so of course the replys will come.

Its easy for people to put whatever price tag on stuff until its their money to buy it. just saying -

Good luck with the sale and of course hopefully you will get what you want for them. They are only worth what someone is willing to buy them for and how much life is left in them in a buyers thoughts.

Then I'd say 3k each max

where would be a good place to advertise them? here? id be happy with less than that.
