Both boats where specifically built for the movie so no exotic power went into either. You want to keep the cost down as you really don’t know what you are going to get back after a movie shoot. I believe the 38 ZR had 525’s with Bravos.

As stated already, the blue 43 had 600's and the black one had 525's.
Doug Valentine was driving the blue one and Mark Bonafide was driving the black one in that video.
The black boat originally had a black interior as well. My friends at Typhoon Marine ran it on the Miami Boat Show Poker run after and literally burned their feet on the deck. By the time they got to Islamorada, they couldn't wait to get off it as you could actually see the heat radiating off it.

I remember going to see the movie with a bunch of our boat club members in 2006. There had just been a really titillating write-up in Powerboat magazine. We were all so excited we could hardly wait. The movie was such a bomb and extreme disappointment it is difficult to put into words just how bad it was. It sucked. It really sucked. I almost walked out when the "agenda" began to play out. It was primarily a political agenda movie and had almost no boating in it, the majority being in the credits. If anyone on here saw it and liked it I would love to hear why.
