I was on the phone with him about an hour before the crash, he was at the auction in palm beach and said he would call me back when he got home. when I got home a couple hours later there were messages on my machine from his wife and father. tough day. he and I had been close friends for years, they would come here and stay at my place and I would go stay with them in NC and then FL. went to the Daytona 500 and Charlotte races with him. he used to bring lobsters over to the house for parties when Michelle and I lived in FL. we had a lot of fun together. miss him all the time. seems the song is right. only the good die young.
