There's a lot of small builders on the West Coast. Are they all gone?
donzi yes
powerquest, I don’t think so
fountain yes
velocity, I don’t think so but someone else upthread knows more
sutphen, I don’t think so. But you may be able to order one
powerplay yes, now run by Tom mason who was running midnight express. They don’t really build anything you’d recognize as a powerplay though. Idk if you can still order a non CC or not
no clue on west coast

The industry has changed for sure. Sunsation only builds CCs now. Outerlimits endured two tragic losses but is hanging in there.

LOL, history repeating itself. Quick, refi the house to pull out an equity line and buy a WakeBoard boat.

Yeah, not even remotely the same as the Donzi.

The Freeman is bad ass but the Donzi is a performance cat.

I would love to know total aggregated annual production numbers from all go-fast builders in 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015 and for 2020. This thread just really highlighted for me that there aren't that many builders actively building outside of the high end guys. Production must be staggeringly less than it was in 2005....

I think Baja alone was building 600-1000 a year at one point.
