What the heck are you using to pull the motor ? A crane ?

best friend runs a 17 ton 150 ft crane

Hi looking at your pics and I see Wellcraft used the same still of swim step on my Nova as your. Yours is oviously bigger though. Just had to say something. Charlie

Macdad260-- I haven't decided yet. Either turn them into 540's or go with a set of Jim V. heads. Both should get me the about the same amount of HP. The least that will happen is fixing the leaking tiller shaft seal on both drives and freshening them up. I want to change to a big hydraulic roller cam also. I also want to increase the compression to 9.5 to 1. Also need to finess the ports on the heads to match the intake manifold. It isn't quite right but it was pretty close. ( Was in a hurry when the engines went togeather 6 years ago) The heads were all assembled when I found that the ports of the intake have sharper corners than the heads do.(stock- Jim V -modified heads with DART intake)
