Won’t have any effect on the races. Anticipating a very good boat count this year. This will be the 25th consecutive year for the St Clair races. If you have questions about the race, please ask me!! I can steer you in the right direction. Guss |

Wow... these are high level for sure! Should not hit the bottom in that area this year ! |
just got back from doing a 2200 mile tour around St. Clair, Huron, Superior an Michigan in my motorhome . . . they are all high. WAY high and at one point the level in Erie came up high enough to touch the foundation of my shop. The high mark for that day was 90.5" over datum and the record is i believe 96" which means if we hit a record my floor will be wet . . . thank god i work on stuff that floats lol. Actually i doubt we will see that at this point (knocking on wood as i type}

Those pictures are crazy. Glad I still have a pair of crocs for walking the docks. I was told that police were writing lots of wakezone violations in the channels but we didn't venture up that far. Went all the way to the back of little Muscamoot Bay to swim where water is usually thigh high and it was now upper chest high. News this morning says Lake St Clair, Erie and Ontario have now broken all time high level records kept since 1919

We are further north than you guys and there is high water throughout northern Ontario as a result of heavy winter snow loads and a really wet Spring. On Lake Nipissing we are just starting to see our docks that have been under water for well over two months.

Location - public dock at Oliphant on the west shore of the Bruce Peninsula on Lake Huron, right now the water is probably up a few inches since early June, depending on the wind. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...82698ddadc.jpg |
