Call me silly...... But after growing up ,experiencing, and personally being with Arneson's clean, surface prop invention process, I can't wrap my head around that much hardware dragging in the water.

When outboards fill the transom from corner to corner, do the outside motors ever run “dry” while turning? Do they use some type of center water pickup to make certain that does not happen?
I love to see folks doing their own thing and pushing the envelope. At some point, at least some of what is learned trickles down to the rest of us.
