Great to read, that's how I got into boating, as a baby.
If my daughter's mum was a bit more like yours, there'd be a lot more boating going on here..

Taught my son to ride a jet ski like that starting at 7 years old. By 10 he was throwing around a heavy-a$$ FX-140 by himself on our local lake (thru the week when there was little to no traffic and dad had a watchful eye within ear shot from the beach). By 12 we did have him get his boating cert. in MO so he didn't have to play hide and seek with the MSWP on LOTO.

My 16 year old drives my 272 like a pro. We see pin heads that rent 25 foot pontoons on sebago without any training or experience. Just a credit card

My son years ago. He just had his first day of high school yesterday and now owns his own 14 ft fishing boat with a 20hp mercury on it. Boy how time flys
