Yes but it makes Matt's point. The people that came, with maybe the exception of some knowledgeable fans, had a great time. Besides the racing there were also other things happening such as the stunt plane with a wing Walker. Racing is supposed to be back next year, hope so.

For years fans lined the shores for unlimited boats .( miss Madison miss bud etc.)
they ran 4 to 8 boats per event several years .
If the town of Dunkirk was happy ,that's a good thing .
