Which fuel sender?
Fuel gauge is dead. Which sender should I use? Thanks

The ohms are correct for the North American standard, but what gauge do you have?

I am going to replace the gauge and sender. |
If you are looking at the ones near the top of your link AND they are made by Centroid (which they look to be), they are absolute garbage. I had one custom made by Centroid and they could not get it to work correctly after numerous revisions and replacements for my fuel cel in my prerunner (long story). FWIW...

It is best to pull out your old sender and see what was used along with the length.

I haven’t replaced the one in my boat since it is still working but the one in my Prerunner I used a cheapo Summit float style for the time being but it reads backwards on that application due what was available ohms wise and the OE cluster gauge. When I replace it or if the boats sender ****s the bed, I’m calling these guys: ISSPRO.com - Quality Gauges, Tachometers, Speedometers and more! |
^^^^^ Just let me know when that happens - there are some other players for senders whom have really good units.

I would suggest VDO, you can get either tube type or float arm

Call JC at superboat? How old is yours coming up on 20 years |
