Envision?

Parents followed me down to LOTO and bought a place. They've decided they need a bigger boat, preferably open bow (which narrows down a ton of real offshore boats)

They ran across an envision that looks decent, but I've honestly never seen or heard of another?

Just looking for pros, and cons...

Thanks.

Owned a 32 Single 500 EFI model and a 36 Twin 6.2 MPI model. Great riding boats. Not fast. Basic heavy V boats but ours have held up very well. The 36 we have now is awesome at LOTO. Have had it since 2005. Not flashy, not fast, but comfy and reliable.

Pretty heavy and based off Sea Ray Pachanga molds. Most are way under powered.

Yes they are heavy as they are not cored hulls. Solid glass. Built like tanks. What size are they looking at? 29, 32, or 36?

They are looking at a 32. Website doesn't list power, but I know as long as it gets on plane and doesn't beat them to death, they will be happy.

im just glad to hear they are decently built.

32 foot single engine, wonder how that drives out

Here is a short thread from back in their building hay days. Broken Arrow sold a ton of them on LOTO, I'd venture to guess well more than half their production went there. As everyone said, heavy, slow and the ones peeps I knew had were under powered and loved to suck gas. With that said, if your parents just want a slow cruise that crushes waves, they will like it.

What did that 32 run w the 500 efi? I'm re-powering a 29 for a guy with 650 hp 502, hasn't seen water yet, just put his new xr drive on, looks like prop cl is about 9 inches below the boat!

There are a lot of 32's with single big blocks. They would probably be happy with it other than docking. I'd lean towards twins for better maneuverability. Might even be more efficient.
