That's what blows me away about the sit down boats and kinda why I started this...can you even see over the bow?? LOL Granted I have to be a lot more conscious of waves in my little guy but I would think even in a big skater or gladiator or whatever you would still need to see over the bow and watch the water...I just think I would always try to be standing up or struggling to see over the bow...that being said I have never been in one of these types so maybe the seats are high enough that you can see everything possibly?

I guess its almost the same dilemma with the left hand throttles in a fountain...some people hate them and can't get used to them and some say it takes 5 min to get used to...

Will never stand again until I throw in the towel and get a CC. Probably still sit in the seat then and just cruise. I'm 51 and my knees are toast

Ok so being a cat does it land softer than a vee? Never been in a cat at speed like that so I really don't know how they land just seen videos hahaha....also do you have any type of suspension on the seats? If I was sitting in my boat and launched like that I would need an ambulance at the dock cuz my back would be broken hahahaha....granted I do have a small lake boat so its way different anyway lol

Most landings are soft but not all. The tunnel compression helps for sure. Still way better than my old TopGun or AT.

I sit when running hard. I feel I have more control of the boat, as well as visual access to the important gauges. I was also told several years ago at a poker run that standing while running hard is "a good way to get hurt". The guy is older than me and has experience running 130+ in a v-bottom.

....so I took the advice and didn't ask questions.

If I was cool enough I would sit on the tops of my bolsters while running like the Candyman.
