There's no comparison how much easier sitting in my Comp is on my back and knees vs standing was in my 35 and 38 Fountains. A number of times at lunch stops on poker runs I've listened to participants talking about how rough it was out there and how beat up they feel - and I'm like, Seriously??? I don't know how much of it is just a sit-down-thing vs the better 38 ZRC Comp hull is over my beaks, but I really think sitting down has to be easier on your back and knees in a dedicated sit down with good seats.

Vision on the other hand really takes some getting used to in a dedicated sit-down-boat vs standing in a traditional Vee. When I first got in my Comp I just naturally wanted to stand up to get a better view. It just takes some getting used to. I recently test rode in a couple of 38 ZR's thinking I might want to go back to a traditional Vee and it's just not for me. It now seem goofy and I feel really vulnerable standing up at speed in rough water.

I have suspension seats in my current boat, I dont feel a thing!
Previous cat was regular seats and the ride was great!
Previous V was 42 Fountain PR sit down...loved it too!
Last stand up was a 312 Fastech...many years ago.

Like the others said...once you get use to it, its hard to go back!

That's right...if you're stepped that thing should be in the 90's....think it takes 850 or so to get those to 90....fastest non stepped like mine I know of ran 88 with 860-880 HP if I remember right...If you spin that 30 efficiently I'd bet you'll see 90 easy

Watch your A/F's with upping the boost!! ask me how I know hahaha

Let me know your results!!

I just cut my throwable up, trimmed the high density foam and stuffed in in the bottom cushion of my seat, Going to give it a try this weekend but I think I can see over the windshield now,

As for comparisons,,, running hard I feel really secure as a sit down, though when just hanging out in the boat, it does put a damper on the socialization aspect.
