Default Columbus Day Celebrated!

As did Christopher Columbus named his three ships for discovering the Americas, Coast Guard documented vessels are required to do the same. Should you have any questions about naming your vessel or any other documented vessel question, please feel free to contact us!

Hmmmm, I think someone is not up on their history... Americas is the proper term...

The explorer Christopher Columbus made four trips across the Atlantic Ocean from Spain: in 1492, 1493, 1498 and 1502. He was determined to find a direct water route west from Europe to Asia, but he never did. Instead, he stumbled upon the Americas.
