True, but idk if Scism has won any world championships with CMS?. I remember Gary Stray once said that the two best t-men that Victory Team ever had was Felix Serralles and Khalfan Harab, but i have no idea as to why he ranked these guys ahead of any other t-man that was hired by the Victory Team.

Randy Scism has to be on that list. Jeff Harris might be best all-around racer given his success as a throttleman and driver in both v-bottoms and cats, but IMO Johnny Tomlinson is the best ever given his sustained success with so many different drivers, and his safety record.
Man what an impressive record that guy has

I personally got a kick out of Rich Luhrs' old list from 2003:
"How about these?:
1. The World's First T-man....... Bobby Moore
2. The World's most underrated T-man....Bobby Idoni
3. The World's most amazing T-man.......... Willie Diaz
4. The World's best rough Water Vee T-man.... Bobby Saccenti
5. The world's best rough Water Cat T-man.... Joey Imprescia
6. The World's most handsome T-man..... J.T.
7. The World's smartest T-man..... Jerry Gilbreath
8. The World's most experienced T-man...... Stevie Curtis
9. The World's most innovative T-man...Billy Sirois
10. The World's best mind game T-man......."Smitty" Smith
11. The World's best up and coming T-man...... Gary Ballough
12. The complete package T-man.......... J.T.
13. The "if only he had more time" T-man....... Mark Lavin ( Greatness nipped in the bud)
With apologies to a bunch of people
T2x"
P.S. Being a Team Scarab fan, I'd like to also salute the humble T-man, crew chief, setup man, and visionary engineer, John Connor. Gratefully Lars. D.S.

A couple of additions I think are worthy of being on there.....In no particular order of importance.
Sm James
Richie Powers
Billy Martin
Eroll Lanier
John Conner
Keith Hazell
Jack Stuteville
Gene Lanham
I won't even open up the subject of the early racers.... who were both driving and throttling and even navigating in some races.....just staying with guys who throttled only.

I was in Key West once and was chatting with a fellow racer/friend of mine about a cat that spun in the harbor turn trying to overtake JT. His comment regarding the indecent was "well . . . if you find yourself coming into a turn harder and faster then JT . . . you should be scared"
Man what an impressive record that guy has
