Wireless Intercom System
Anybody using a Wireless intercom system/headsets?.........seems like a large disparity in the pricing....would appreciate any real world advice
|
I have the PCI Race Radio Bluetooth headsets. They work very well and I can't tell much, if any difference than the PCI wired system that is in my sand car.

We purchased Bluetooth headsets from Sampson racing and they are outstanding. Sound quality is top shelf , you can listen to music and answer your phone 😎 |
Ditto on the Sampson Racing Bluetooth headsets.

I've got a Rugged system in my boat (although not wireless), and it works good. They've been quick to ship and answer any questions.

We also have a Rugged wired system with optional bluetooth for listening to music when not talking, very well built and works as it should.

I tried to link website but no bueno Yes, with no install you just take them along on whatever boat (or any other activities) you wish. I’m sure you “need” these around the lumberyard...... |
The one problem I’ve found with wireless is they require a battery. I’m the type of person who doesn’t think about the AA battery until we’re on the boat and all my friends are complaining the headsets don’t work.... |
The Sampson are rechargeable and a charge lasts for a day of boating with no problem. They recharge via USB.

Have had the Piratecom wireless system from Setcom since 2010. Work well, nice to walk around boat at card stops and while docking with communication.
