Hey Bob it's been a while! I certainly may take you up on it but am not taking StillCrazy, I have a Fountain 38lx for the family😀. I normally cruise from 40-50mph depending on the conditions so may just lag behind a bit. Took it to Elbow Cay in the Abacos this summer before it got destroyed by Dorian😔. Should be in for the ride home Monday as well! Will confirm by this weekend.

I hope it was not StillCrazy that was destroyed by Dorian ! That would be a big loss. We usually make a 10 or 15 min pee break at NorthWest Cape at the bottom end of the mainland before heading across Florida Bay to Marathon so boats that fall behind can catch up. Hope you can join us.

What Marina are you guys staying at?

I'm at Stock Island Marina. Very nice facility there but an 8 mile commute to downtown.

Nope, StillCrazy is all good but we decided to take the other boat down to Key West this year. Sea Spray Marina, where we docked the boat in Elbow Cay was completely destroyed by Dorian. Really sad for all those people in the islands. We've sent a bunch of tools, building materials and supplies over there but it's going to be years before it even resembles what it was.

We're in for the run down with you guys, will meet outside the Marco River at 10 on Thursday! Looking forward to it!!

Wind was blowing hard from the East on Thursday and on the way back Sunday. From Naples/Marco to Cape Sable it was flat and calm, but kicked up immediately after Cape Sable to a nice chop. We still managed to run 35-40 through most of it on the way down to Marathon. Was the same from Marathon to Key West, the perfect direction to stir it up on both north and south sides of the island. At least on the way from Marathon to Key West we were running down-sea.
On Sunday it was still blowing 20 out of the east. We decided to hug the north side of the keys until the end of big pine and then jump over to Cape Sable. Not sure if the south side would have been any better. Probably 2-3' head sea that we ran about 40mph in all the way to Cape Sable, then it was flat again close to shore. This was a pic at our Pee break right before Cape Sable on the way down.https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...6a57aa10d2.jpg
