That's a fact, we towed our 38 FT cat from northern MI to Lake Havasu and back this past Desert Storm, and the distracted drivers made it a very difficult task.

man that's painful to look at!! I remember many years ago, a 70+ yr old woman made a left turn right in front of me while towing. I was doing 45 and t-boned her. Luckily I hit her towards the rear so it spun her around but I kept going straight. No damage to the boat and I didn't flip her. No injuries

That’s why you always leave tons of space between. You and the vehicle in front of you . And run at night when and if you can . Some accidents are just that , accidents and can’t be avoided . It’s unfortunate but no one was Hurt.

You can leave all of the space in the world in front of you and some knuckle heads will stuff their way into it.

Has anyone posted what kind of damage the boat took? I hope it was still usable due to the fact it stayed attached to the trailer.

While I agree with you I'm guessing that right side didn't like the pavement too well.

and judging from the scalloped grass, it looks looks the stb sponson/drive skidded a good distance grinding on the asphalt.

Sad to see, hope insurance does right for the owner.
