Bulldog motors
This may be a stupid question, but I've seen motors listed that are 540 or 500 "bulldogs" What is a "bulldog" motor and what makes it unique?
Where could I go to find specs on a 500 bulldog?
I'm looking for all the info I can get, I need a "Bulldog for Dummies" education. Thanks!

Well, looking at the HP vs cubic inches, it should be a relaible package that makes decent torque. I recall looking at them a while ago, and they were a highr cost than the HP 500 (502)
Heck, it looks like there's some decent parts in there.....should work well with a solid roller, blower, and new valve springs..but then you lose the reliability

Yep...Great package to throw forced induction on.
You had the option of 3A's or even 5'swith them.
My buddy has a 42 Tiger/BravoXR's with Bulldogs and threw some Mega 420's on top of them....gained like 10+ mph.
