Stripping paint off weiand 177
 

I have pair of weiand 177s - one has been painted and I'd like to get them back to stock ..... I think stock is powder coat??

Any suggestions? Power washer didnt work so now thinking some sort of paint stripper and then power wash. Dont want to damage original powder coat.

Easy off oven cleaner, let soak till paint bubbles then pressure wash off. Easy smeasy.

I'm pretty sure they are just painted from Mercruiser using the Merc Phantom Black paint.

yeah - I went a bit hard and now have to touch up black paint. Ugh
What paint should I use?

use what Griff said, same color that's on the Merc outdrives

Use Aircraft Stripper , Strip them clean , then prime and Paint with Mercury Phantom Black .
There Rattle can paint is really good shiite .
