Default Wright Performance 360 Cat Shootout: 450R Vs. 400R Power

To demonstrate the difference in Mercury Racing outboard power on its 36-foot Wright Performance sport catamaran, Performance Boat Center set up a side-by-side test session—captured on video, https://speedonthewater.com/in-the-n...-vs-400r-power.

My wife showed me the videos Friday night as she follows PBC on Facebook. I texted Rusty and told him he and Myrick have more fun than should humanly be allowed. He said it wasn't quite as fun for him since he was in the 400R boat and had to look at Myrick's a$$ every run!

Love the videos and the fact PBC makes the effort to do comparisons like this.

Very cool info/video! Thanks for sharing Matt, and to Myrick, Rusty and the entire crew at PBC for putting that all together.

Put a set of "tuned" ECUs on that 400R rig, and I think it would stay pretty close to that 450R setup. I might have some firsthand knowledge of the boat length difference between tuned and non-tuned 400Rs against other boats from 40-120...…..
