3mm asking for Lady Lisa (80 Nortech that runs 64mph!) |
Saw her in key west, seeing that boat idle out with several others reminded me of the giant walking amongst men in game of thrones. Very impressive.
what happened to the blue one with the hardtop that the poor owner got locked up in Mexico over? |

He was released a year and a half ago. The Mexican govt auctioned off the boat while he was in prison and apparently it is still in Mexico. All of the yacht clubs he started were taken over by the bank but they are all doing quite well now.

I don’t remember the boat costing that much when it was new? Seems steep for a 9 year old boat with 900 hours. It is still sweet though and that must be one helluva lift.

900 hours in 9 years is actually low for big CAT diesels, most big sportfishes go 900+ hours in one season! I love the boat but the gold would have to go and hopefully it has some type of shade provision as that open deck would be tough to enjoy for the whole day in full sun. |
I don’t need to worry about all of everyone’s problems about it, I couldn’t afford to fill it up.
|
Shocked Red is selling it.
Beautiful boat though no matter who owns it or where it goes. |

What a beast! Love that boat .
Someone explain to me how this 80' beast with 4000hp, diesels , large apartment below etc etc was 4mill new and the Tierra 60' fishing boat looking center console with all those ugly egg beaters is 3.5 mill. !? Maybe if he put a #1 on the side he could sell it for 6 mill:lolhit: |

I'd bet those twin CAT diesels back then cost less than the 5-6 400r's do today. The 80 NT probably would cost 7mm+ to build today and it would take 2 years to finish (* IF NT would even take on the project) hence the 3mm asking price for this boat. |

If you're you're gonna be big, fast and obnoxious, you may as well have a garish color scheme too but there's no cup holders on the rear lounge and that's a deal breaker. :)

2 price drops of 400K each in the last 2 months: 1.99mm now.
https://www.yachtworld.com/boats/201...dster-3604388/ Cool video tour, the worst part is that it is really just a day boat. No real galley which limits buyers |
We ran the boat with powerboat magazine for a story. It is so extremely awesome. Everything about it. NT went over the top. My wife actually drove it she was pretty stoked. Awesome boat.

Wonder where it’s going?

If I had 2M kicking around I’d be looking at a Pershing, Riva, etc...before the nortech. Just my opinion.

NT is a one of one (the blue one was a hardtop). It is the ultimate day boat, but I'm not sure I could handle all that sun exposure. Reminds me of a big Magnum https://magnummarine.com/project/80/ I suspect it will pop up somewhere, someone on OSO will see it. I wonder if the new owner is going to keep it on a lift like Red did or just bottom paint it and scrub off a few mph. |

This article notes it is staying in Sarasota: https://www.superyachttimes.com/yach...lady-lisa-sold The high-speed superyacht 24.38-metre Lady Lisa has found a new owner, thanks to Gary Hardcastle of Denison representing both clients. The new owners are set to enjoy cruising at speeds of up to 55 knots in and around Sarasota, Florida, where the yacht is currently located. |
It got to a price point where we almost threw an offer in on it, but, we could never get over the fact that the boat was totally open. A boat of that size really should have an enclosed, climate controlled upper salon. I know on our Pershing people are always inside with the AC blasting on hot days.
