Drock, so glad to hear you're getting back in the game. Maybe we'll see you at Boyne Thunder again. Of course, I love the idea of a 37AT. I wish I could have bought your 28 a few years ago, beautiful boat! Best of luck on your search.

I keep looking at this boat but I absolutely know nothing about scarabs. It is a ton of boat and serious hardware for the money.

That is a heck of a rig. Doubt you’d find another one like it

I think if you're considering a Scarab, you're crazy to not try to find a 388 Slingshot with arnesons....

BTW, I hate to say it because this site was always full of knowledge, and alot of guys knew off market boats that could be bought, but all of the traffic has gone over to facebook. You have to deal with a lot of yahoo's, but I guarantee if you put up some posts looking for specific boats with the mfg's listed, you will get a ton of leads on unadvertsied stuff.

Best places on facebook are: Passion for powerboats, the original powerboat swap shop, HP powerboats for sale, and most manufacters have an ownes page that you can post wanted ads.

The site will not reply to customers with ads and the passwords have to be some crazy set up of numbers, letters, and numerals. I forgot my password as it is nothing I use every day and the web site does not reply or let you reset it.

So the adds sit for years and years and years. Mine is still up there and I still get 1 or 2 calls a year on it.

I don't know really anything about scarabs but I do know that I won't own a 388. Is the scarab similar in weight and rough water ride? IMO a 388 isn't comparable to the rough water ride of an AT.

I can tell you first hand you do not want a 388 for Great Lakes boating.
