The 38 AVS is a GREAT hull... no surprises and a very nice ride. I may be a little biased, but I'd certainly check one out if you've never been on one. That 700 boat is really cool... save a few bucks for fuel and still run 80 with this one (full disclosure, it's mine).

Haha - you're not ruining my cereal. I agree - you can go to cig, build a million dollar boat and not have a sink or toilet. It's uncanny (pun intended). It's all about how you use the boat. I used to be hard core about a useable cabin but have found having a place to sleep is all we really use it for in our store of boating.

I think my second V choice would be Nor-Tech. I like the looks and everyone seems to love them and the cabins look like the check your boxes.....

I'd love to have a Cig later on but for now, with a 7yr old daughter, an enclosed head, ac and room to sleep 3 is essential since we stay on it most weekends.

I think this might be the good looking one...."Italian Ice"

https://www.offshoreonly.com/classif...nt-o76959.html

Doesn't sound overly expensive (IMO) but would need bigger power to compare with any of the other boats mentioned on this thread.
