IDK,
I’m 32, and if that new 25 foot boat was 125k, hell no. There’s way too many clean older boats out there for way less. I’m going that route and will have a bunch of extra cash to go use it.

However, I hope a lot of you guys go out and keep building and buying new boats so that the used inventory is there when I’m ready for the next one.

A single 25 and 28 cost about the same to build so mite as well go 28 , selling point just under $ 100 k with at least 500hp to 700 hp minimum , it needs to run at least mid 70's everyday of the week

the Lavey Craft 24 in which is almost 26 ft in length because Lavey does not add in the swim platform for its length like other brands --- by far is the best new boat buy on the market for price and quality per that dollar amount. Under a 100 K.. To add its all Gel cote and not one color design and a proven step hull as well.

I put in a "no" but having owned my 272 for 18 years it's only because there are so many good used options out there.
I will miss it as its getting sold off this spring , this size is right for easily managing all but one thing......rough water

I wouldnt, bit to small of a boat IMO.

30 to low 30 area would be a bit better but for myself, no, I wouldn't ever buy a new go fast no matter the price.

+1........ if I lived on a smaller lake (not Lake Michigan or LOTO) maybe a 25 would work.

A new 28 Pantera might be fun with a 520/540 in it.

Living in Florida, I'd get way more use out of this:
