Looks like the world’s biggest beak boat. :drink: In one of the pix, it looks like the world’s largest 36 NorTech is parked next to it.

It's a Mares Cat. I think it has quads.
The Fountain needs some work. At least a good cleaning and recaulking.

there were two built. the first had lots of problems and was last seen in dry storage at some marina waiting to be scraped from the look of it. number 2 was better built and was not used as a test bed like the first one.

Is it confirmed that the cat is mares? That looks like a 80 aluminum cat

I'm a Fountain fan and liked the idea of the 65' but never really liked the look. I reckon it was one of those things that gets you saying "it's ahead of its time" and now looking back, it's the exact opposite, she looks very dated. (Just my opinion) The molds were destroyed in a storm. Different class of speed but I'd prefer a Sea Ray or Sunseeker Predator. Up the stakes a little bit and buy a Pershing. ;)

This old ad is probably hull number one, price certainly came down. (299k) Apparently with all the extra work in design and messing around, hull number one is 4,000lbs heavier. Ouch!

Well, I didn't go look but there's been a giant Mares Cat and Fountain in Lake Union for a while. The Mares was drydocked a few years ago and I swear it had quads.

If I remember right one of the biggest complaints was head room under the hard top. There was a joke going around that only Reggie could drive one.
